As a proud father and family man, David S. Brown (Owner) knows the time and effort it takes to balance everything that life puts towards you. When not on call, he chooses to spend his time with his son to ensure he is raised with the same sense of responsibility and consideration that he himself was raised with. His son is leading the class in Kilough Elementary of Dawson. Through choices of his own, Dakota tutors the children that are grades below him in reading and math. Both he and his son believe that if you have the ability to help someone, you should. "I know school can be hard sometimes," says Dakota, "and when I need help, it sure makes it better when there is someone there to help me." David agrees with him 100% and puts those words into practice every day, in life and business. He didn't start this company to "get rich" he says. "I worked for a few HVAC companies and that's when I realized just how over-priced services can be. Several times customers could not afford repairs they desperately needed and it absolutely horrified me when the help they needed didn't come because the company refused to bend on anything, especially the price. They were more concerned with the bottom-line than they were with their community. The last straw came when a customer absolutely had to have a unit installed for their handicapped granddaughter, who would be returning from a 6-month stay at the hospital. She had been in a car accident that left her paralyzed for life at 2 years old. "When the company refused to help in any way and it looked hopeless for this family, I had had enough. I decided to start my own business and make sure what this family was going through would never happen again." What happened to the family that needed the equipment? David took money from his personal savings, bought the unit and installed it at no charge whatsoever. He made sure to take Dakota along with him so that his son would also know the feeling of helping someone in need is far greater than any monetary gain. As another bonus, Dakota also made a friend for life with the young girl and now wants to help others like her!
